JUDGMENT:

This MACMA is filed under Section 173 of M.V.Act, 1988 by the Appellant-RTC against the Order and decree, dated 12.12.2019, passed in M.V.O.P. No.552 of 2017, by the Chairman, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal-cum-Special Sessions Judge for Fast Tracking the Cases relating to Atrocities against Women-cum-VIII Additional District Judge, Khammam, (hereinafter referred to ‘Tribunal’), wherein claimant filed the claim petition under Section 166 of Motor Vehicles Act seeking compensation of Rs.15,00,000/- with interest at 24% per annum for the injuries sustained by him in a motor vehicle accident occurred on 02.10.2015.

2. For the sake of convenience, the parties are hereinafter referred as arrayed before the Tribunal.

3. The brief facts of the case are that on 02.10.2015 when the claim petitioner (injured) was proceeding to Laxmipuram from Bhadrachalam on a motorcycle bearing No.AP 20AG 6366 and when he crossed Masali Madugu village, the driver of RTC bus bearing No.AP 20Z 0031 drove the bus in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against the motorcycle in opposite direction, due to which the claim petitioner sustained crush injury
