ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and Sri L. Ravinder, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents.

2. Petitioner herein is claiming that he is the absolute owner and possessor of land admeasuring Acs.2.10 guntas in Survey No.65/B/1 situated at Bhuktapur, Adilabad Urban, Adilabad District. In proof of the same, he has filed latest pattadar pass book and title deed. He has submitted an application bearing No.2500040999 dated 27.01.2025 to 4^th respondent, Tahsildar & Joint Sub-Registrar, Adilabad Urban, Adilabad District, with a request to convert the subject land from agriculture to non-agriculture. He has also paid an amount of Rs.2,83,387/- towards NALA charges. Thereafter, 4^th respondent asked the petitioner to appear before him on 28.03.2025 at 10:30 a.m. along with necessary documents. Therefore, on the said date, the petitioner appeared before

4^th respondent, but no proceedings took place. However, 4^th respondent is not disposing of the aforesaid application of the petitioner. Aggrieved by the said inaction of

4^th respondent, petitioner filed the present Writ Petition.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, would submit that 4^th respondent will consider and dispose of application bearing No.2500040999 dated 27.01.2025 submitted by the petitioner with a request to convert the subject land from agriculture to non-agriculture, in accordance with law.

4. In the light of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing 4^th respondent to consider and dispose of application bearing No.2500040999 dated 27.01.2025 submitted by the petitioner with a request to convert the subject land from agriculture to non-agriculture strictly in accordance with law. If 4^th respondent is not inclined to accept the request made by the petitioner, he shall pass appropriate orders by assigning specific reasons and communicate a copy of the same to the petitioner. However, he shall complete the said exercise within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
