Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri.K.V.Rama Rao, learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 2. With their consent, the writ petition is being taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer:- “to set aside the order dated 12.06.2025 which was passed under section 5 (2) (c) of Pass port Act to be read with 6 (2) (f) issued by Respondent No.2 and consequently direct Respondent No.2 to renew petitioners passport for a period of ten years by processing the application of the petitioner vide its application No.25-1052618 by renewing his passport No.P0196976 for a period of 10 YEARS.”

Brief facts stated in this writ petition are that the petitioner upon expiry of his passport bearing No.P0196976, had applied for renewal of passport vide application No.25-1052618 dated 26.05.2025, disclosing all particulars including pendency of C.C.No.721 of 2022, pending on the file of Learned Principal Junior Civil Judge-Cum-Judicial Magistrate of First Class at Malkajgiri.
