WRIT PETITION No.20082 of 2025

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed declaring the inaction of respondents No.2 to 7 in taking action against the illegal construction and encroachment made by respondents No.8 and 9 surrounding the Gram Panchayat Building as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to direct the respondent authorities to immediately dismantle and remove the initial foundation on the Gram Panchayat/government land and to pass such other order or orders.

2. Learned Standing Counsel for Gram Panchayat has furnished copies of the instructions received by him to state that the subject property is not the land of the gram panchayat, but it is the private property and the unofficial respondents have obtained permission for construction. The copies of the registered sale deed in respect of the subject property and the building permission are also enclosed along with the written instructions.

3. In view of the permission being granted to the unofficial respondents, this Court finds that the grievance of the petitioners cannot be adjudicated in this Writ Petition.
