JUDGMENT:

This Criminal Appeal is filed by the appellant/complainant challenging the judgment dated 22.03.2012, passed by the learned I Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases-cum-V Additional Chief Judge, City Civil Court, Hyderabad (for short, ‘the trial Court’) in C.C.No.23 of 2008, whereby the learned Judge found the accused persons not guilty for the offences under Sections 7 and Section 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (for short, the ‘P.C. Act, 1988’).

2. The appellant herein is the complainant and respondent herein is the accused before the trial Court. For the sake of convenience, hereinafter parties are referred to as the complainant and the accused.

3. The brief facts of the case of the prosecution are as follows:

AO Sri K. Maheshwar worked as Junior Assistant in the office of the Tahsildar, Balanagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District from 02.07.2005 to 06.03.2007. The de-facto complainant Sri P. Subramanyam (hereinafter referred to as PW.1) has been working as Junior Accountant in Jyothi Engineering Enterprises and M/s. Mani Engineers and Fabricators, belonging to Sri Guru
