Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri.Angothu Nehru, learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 2. With their consent, the writ petition is being taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer:- “to declare the action of the Respondent No.2 in refusing passport services to the Petitioner herein vide his file no.HY1074983907925 vide notice dated 20.06.2025 received on 25.06.20254 as illegal high handed and arbitrary apart from being in violation of the rights of the Petitioner under Article 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently set aside notice dated 20.06.2025 in file No.HY1074983907925 direct the Respondent No.2 to renew the passport of the Petitioner bearing No.Z3027151 for the period of 10 ten years.”
