ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner aggrieved by the inaction of respondent No.2 in passing orders in Inam Claim No.E/133/2020 even after lapse of more than 5 years.

2. The petitioner submits that the originally the land in Survey Nos.31 and 32 admeasuring Ac.7-38 guntas and Ac.13-24 guntas situated at Bolghatpally Village of Achampet Mandal, Nagarkurnool District is an Inam land, which is on the name of Sri Bakkodu, S/o. Sayanna and Bakkamma, W/o. Balaiah, who are none other than the uncle of petitioner No.1 and grandparents of petitioner No.2 and respondent Nos.4 to 8. After the death of Inamdars, the subject land devolved upon the petitioners and respondent Nos.4 to 7, who are in joint possession and claiming equal right. It appears that the respondent Nos.4 to 8 have sold the said lands to respondent Nos.9 to 12 and the respondent No.3 without insisting for ORC, amended the lands in the name of respondent Nos.4 to 12 herein by exceeding his jurisdiction. The petitioners have filed Inam Claim Petition before the respondent No.2 on 29.01.2020 seeking issuance of ORC in respect of half of the land, to which they were entitled in terms of Section 4 of the Telangana State Inam Abolition Act, 1955 read with Section 5(5) of ROR Act, 1971 for rectification of entries on the remaining half share in favor of respondent Nos.4 to 6 herein. The said claim petition has been numbered as E/133/2020 and the written arguments were filed by the petitioners as well as respondent Nos.4 to 12 in the year 2021.

3. The main grievance of the petitioners is that though the Inam Claim Petition has been filed in the year 2020 before the respondent No.2, the respondent No.2 is adjourning and not hearing the matter and dodging on one pretext or other. Questioning the same, the present Writ Petition is filed.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri L.Ravinder, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioners confines his submissions only to the extent of disposal of the Inam Claim Petition bearing No.E/133/2020 pending before respondent No.2 and prays the Court that a direction may be given to respondent No.2 for speedy disposal of the Inam Claim Petition.

6. Sri L.Ravinder, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that appropriate orders may be passed to the extent of disposing the pending Inam Claim Petition.

7. Without going into the merits of the case and with consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, and since, as submitted the written arguments have already been filed and the said application is pending for the last five years, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to expedite the hearing of the said Inam Claim Petition and pass an appropriate orders not beyond the outer limit of three (03) months.

8. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed.
