This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/accused No.1, seeking anticipatory bail under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), in connection with Crime No.34 of 2025 on the file of WPS Police Station, Warangal District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 85, 351(2) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhitha, 2023 and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
2. Heard Mr.S.Madan Mohan Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Syed Yasar Mamoon, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No.1/State.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the offences leveled against the petitioner are punishable with an imprisonment of less than seven years. However, at the instance of the respondent No.2/de facto complainant, the concerned authorities issued Look Out Circular against the petitioner. If the petitioner comes to India, there is every chance to arrest the petitioner in the present crime.
