This Writ Petition is filed with the following relief:

“…to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of

Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondent No.1 in

issuing an Ad-interim order for attachment vide GO.Ms.No.176 Home

(General B) Department dated 28.06.2003 to attach the properties of

the petitioner and his firms which are described in the Annexure

attached to the said GO as arbitrary, illegal, unjust, contrary to law,

against the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Protection of Depositors

of Financial Establishments Act, 1999 and against the Principles of

Natural Justice and is violative of Article 14, 19, 21 and also violative of

300-A of the Constitution of India and pass such other order or

orders…..”

2. Heard Mr.Mahesh Raje, learned counsel for the petitioner

and Mr.D.Pradeep, learned Assistant Government Pleader for

Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the cause of

action in the present writ petition no longer survives for

adjudication and, therefore, seeks dismissal of the writ petition

as infructuous.

4. Recording the submissions of both learned counsel, the writ

petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to

costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
