ORDER :

This Writ Petition is filed declaring the action of the respondents in not implementing the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.23454 of 2008 dated 8.4.2024 and not issuing posting orders to the petitioners as Grade-II Hindi Pandits, Karimnagar district in the DSC 2002 is arbitrary and illegal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Services-I appearing for the respondents. With their consent, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have appeared for DSC 2002 and became eligible, qualified and meritorious candidates to hold the post of Hindi Pandit Grade-II, but the respondents have not issued appointment orders. When less meritorious candidates were considered for appointment, a batch of writ petitions bearing W.P.Nos.25803 of 2008 and batch were filed and the Division Bench of this Court while disposing of the said matters by common order dated 8.4.2024, held that in respect of the persons who were not selected i.e. more meritorious candidates, the State Government shall take steps to consider their cases for appointment to the post of SGTs, Language Pandits and School Assistants. In the said batch of writ petitions, petitioners herein got impleaded. Hence, petitioners seek direction to the respondents to implement the common order of this Court in W.P.No.25803 of 2008 and batch dated 8.4.2024.

The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that in compliance of the orders of the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.No.25803 of 2008 and batch dated 8.4.2024, the respondent No.2 has called for the report from the respondent No.4 vide proceedings Rc.No.71/Rc-1/2024 dated 5.7.2024 and consequently, the respondent No.4 has prepared the list of meritorious candidates including the petitioners and forwarded the same to the respondent No.2 vide letter No.182/A5/2024 dated 1.10.2024, who in turn forwarded the same to the respondent No.1 vide proceedings Lr.Rc.No.71/RC- 1/2024 dated 9.5.2025 and submitted the details of seven (7) eligible candidates including the petitioners herein and sought permission of the Government to issue necessary orders to the appoint the said candidates. Therefore, the learned Government Pleader seeks three months time for implementing the orders of this Court in W.P.No.25803 of 2008 and batch dated 8.4.2024.

Having regard to the submissions made by the respective parties, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to implement the orders passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.No.25803 of 2008 and batch dated 8.4.2024 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
