O R D E R:

With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the stage of admission itself.

Heard Sri Srinivasa Rao Madiraju, learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Government Pleader for Services-III for respondent Nos.1, 4 and 5; learned Government Pleader for Services-I for respondent No.2; Sri K.Bala Krishna, learned Standing Counsel for Accountant General, for respondent No.3; and Sri P.Kishore Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Zilla Praja Parishad, for respondent No.6.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was retired from service on 30.06.2024. Considering the pension proposals, respondent No.3 sanctioned pension to the petitioner vide proceedings, dated 26.07.2024. However, till now, his retirement benefits were not released by the respondents.

4. Learned Government Pleader submits that due to dearth of funds, the amounts could not be released to the petitioner, on time. However, in pursuance of proceedings, dated 26.07.2024, amounts will be released to the beneficiaries.

5. Having regard to the above made submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release retirement benefits to the petitioner in pursuance of proceedings No.AG(A&E)/P19/IV/R-339/SP326/2024-06/1169, dated 26.07.2024, issued by respondent No.3, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
