ORDER:

Heard Sri Karam Chand Komireddy, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Forest, appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2. The petitioners approached the Court seeking prayer as under:

“…to issue an appropriate writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the 3^rd Respondent in issuing an order vide Proceedings in R.C.No.891/2011-N4 dated 24.6.2015; and Forest Produce Depot Revised Renewal License Form dated 24.06.2015 whereby permission granted to the Petitioner to operate the wood work shop has been withdrawn without giving any prior notice or opportunity to the Petitioner of being heard as illegal, arbitrary and in violation of principles or natural justice and consequently direct the 3^rd Respondent to restore the License granted to the Petitioner vide License No.04/2015-16 dated 16.5.2015 for the period from 16.05.2015 to 31.3.2016 according to which the Petitioner is entitled to operate and run M/s. Sri Laxmi Timber Depot cum Wood Workshop at H.No.21-102/2, Shantinagar, Khanapur, Adilabad District in the interest of justice.”

3. It is represented by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that the cause of action in the present writ petition does not survive for adjudication any more.

4. Bringing the said submission of the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner on record, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall also stand closed.
