This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/accused Nos.2 to 4, seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1258 of 2025 on the file of the VI Additional Junior Civil Judge-cum-VI Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Ranga Reddy District at L.B Nagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short ‘IPC’) and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act (for short ‘DP Act’).
2. Heard Mr. Giruka Madhusudhan Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners appeared through video conference and Mr. Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1.
