ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed with the following relief:
“…to issue an appropriate writ. order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondent in not renewing the Arms Licence No. 141/Chilkalguda covered with (2) weapons i.e., on 12 Bore DBBL Gun No. 65710 and one 32NP Bore revolver No. A-4280/12 as illegal. arbitrary and unreasonable and violative of Art. 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to renew the Arms License of the petitioner forthwith and pass.........”
2. Heard Mr.Magham Mallikarjun Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Pradeep, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the cause of action in the present writ petition no longer survives for adjudication and, therefore, seeks dismissal of the writ petition as infructuous.
4. Recording the submission of the learned counsel, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
