This Criminal Revision Case is filed seeking to set-
aside the order dated 05.03.2026 passed in Crl.MP.(SR).747 of 2026 in Crime No.312 of 2026 by the learned VI Addl. Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal-
Malkajgiri District, Uppal at Medipally.
2. Heard Sri S. Keshava Rao, learned counsel for petitioners as well as Sri M. Ramachandra Reddy, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent -
State.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners herein filed above said Crl.M.P. in Crime No.312 of 2026, under Section 480 of BNSS, 2023, before the learned trial Court to enlarge the petitioners on bail and the learned trial Court has returned the same without assigning any reasons as to why said bail petition was not maintainable before the said court. He further submitted that all the offences leveled against the petitioners are punishable below 7 years and triable by the Magistrate only not by the Sessions Court. He further contended that petitioners herein were remanded on 03.03.2026 and immediately he filed above said bail petition before the concerned Court, as such, he requested the Court to direct the learned trial Court to dispose of the said bail petition, on merits.
4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Criminal Revision Case is allowed directing the learned VI Addl. Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal-Malkajgiri District, Uppal at Medipally, to assign reasons or to number the bail petition filed by the petitioners vide Crl.MP.(SR).747 of
2026 in Crime No.312 of 2026.
Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
