3. It is submitted that originally Mr. Rudroju Venkatram Narsaiah, the grandfather of the petitioner; was the absolute owner and possessor the land admeasuring Ac.1-12 guntas in Survey No.640/C, situated at Kadipikonda Village, Kazipet Mandal, Hanumakonda District; he died on 17.01.2000 leaving behind his son Mr. Rudroju Kishan Prasad, the father of the petitioner. Since then, Mr. Rudroju Kishan Prasad had been in continuous possession and enjoyment of the subject land. That Mr. Rudroju Kishan Prasad died on 05.01.2026 leaving behind the petitioner as his legal heir. Thereafter, the petitioner succeeded to the subject land and had been in possession and enjoyment of the subject land. It is submitted that the name of Mr. Rudroju Venkatram Narsaiah had been continuing in the revenue records in respect of the subject land. However, the petitioner came to know that the name of his grandfather was wrongly recorded as ‘Rudroju Venkatram S/o. Narsaiah’ instead of ‘Rudroju Venkatram Narsaiah S/o. Veeraiah in the revenue records. On being advised, the petitioner submitted Dharani application No.2500153068 dated 19.11.2025 for correction of name of his grandfather from ‘Rudroju Venkatram S/o. Narsaiah’ to ‘Rudroju Venkatram Narsaiah S/o. Veeraiah’ in the revenue records in respect of the subject land, however, the same has not been considered so far. As there is delay on the part of the respondent authorities in considering
his application, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court.
