This Criminal appeal is filed aggrieved by the judgment dated 13.12.2023 passed in Crl.A.No.12 of 2023 by the Principal District and Sessions Judge at Narayanpet, wherein the appellate Court reversed the judgment of the trial Court in C.C.No.217 of 2022.

2. C.C. No. 217 of 2022 was filed against respondent Nos. 2 to 7/accused for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 448, 504, and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (for short “IPC’). On behalf of the prosecution, PWs.1 to 6 were examined and Exs.P.1 to P.4 were marked. Upon appreciation of the evidence on record, the trial Court convicted the accused for the offences under Sections 323 and 448 of IPC and sentenced them to pay a fine of Rs. 1,000/- each, in default to undergo simple imprisonment for 15 days on each count.
