ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.1 in transferring and posting the petitioner, who is working as Deputy Commissioner in the Endowments Department, to the post of Executive Officer (equivalent to the post of Assistant Commissioner), Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, Manyamkonda, Mahaboobnagar District, vide G.O.Rt.No.112 Revenue (Endowments-I) Department dated 28.02.2026 as illegal and arbitrary.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Learned Government Pleader for Services-II, appearing for the respondents.

3. Learned Government Pleader for Services-II has produced a copy of G.O.Rt.No.144, dated 13.03.2026, whereunder the impugned G.O.Rt.No.112 dated 28.02.2026, has been cancelled and the order of transfer and posting of the petitioner has been modified, posting him as Executive Officer at Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Devasthanam, Komuravelly, Siddipet District.

4. In view of the same, this Court is of the opinion that cause in this Writ Petition does not survive. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh Writ Petition if he is aggrieved by said G.O.Rt.No.144 dated 13.03.2026. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
