ORDER :
This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking the following relief:
“…to issue Writ, order or direction more in the nature of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the Respondent.No. 2 and 3, not giving admission into Ph.D programme (Full Time), though the Petitioner is fully qualified and eligible as she is selected for DST INSPIRE Fellowship, though the last date for upload the application for DST INSPIRE Fellowship is going to expire on 31-03-2018 as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory, violation of Art.14,16, and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent.No.2 and 3 to conduct interview to the Petitioner and issue admission order into Ph.D programme (Full Time) to the Petitioner before 26-03-2018 without insisting in the interest of justice and to pass..…”
2. Heard Sri B.Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri V.Praveen Kumar, learned Government Pleader for Education, for respondent No.1 and learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3 and perused the record.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the cause in the present writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Therefore, no further orders are required to be passed and hence seek to dismiss the same as infructuous.
4. Learned Government Pleader for Education and learned Standing Counsel for JNTUH take no objection to the same.
5. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no orders as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
