ORDER

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/Accused Nos.2 to 5 to quash the proceedings against them in C.C. No.418 of 2018 on the file of learned Junior Civil Judge, Sirpur, for the offences alleged against the petitioners under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short ‘IPC’) and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 (for short D.P. Act).

2. Heard Sri B.Nageshwar Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Jithender Rao Veeramalla, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent No.1-State and Sri Kalyan Chippakurthi, learned counsel for respondent No.2.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioner Nos.3 and 4, who are arrayed as accused Nos.4 and 5, are the sisters-in-law of de-facto complainant and that there are no specific allegations leveled against these petitioners with
