This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 5 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.7718 of 2020 pending on the file of the XIII Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short ‘IPC’) and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

2. Heard Sri G. Parashuram, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Jithendar Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1.
