This Writ Petition is filed with the following relief:

“…to issue a writ order or direction more particularly a writ in the nature of a writ of mandamus a. Declaring the inaction of the respondents 3 and 4 in providing protection for the purpose of conducting burial of the body of Late Syed Badruddin Quadri as arbitrary, illegal and violative of the right to decent burial guaranteed under article 21 of the Constitution of India and b. Direct the respondents 3 and 4 to forthwith provide protection for the purpose of conducting burial of the body of Late Syed Badruddin Quadri at

Maqbera Wala Jahi, Asifnagar, Hyderabad...........”

2. Heard Mr.P.S.Rajasekhar, learned counsel for the petitioner and

Mr.D.Pradeep, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the cause of action in the present writ petition no longer survives for adjudication

and, therefore, seeks dismissal of the writ petition as infructuous.

4. Recording the submission of the learned counsel, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to

costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
