ORDER

The present Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief:

to issue a Writ, one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus or any other

appropriate Writ, Direction or Order directing the respondents to

remove all the encroachments on the road margins, foot-paths on the main road including the illegal constructions of pan shops, etc., on the road leading from Balaji Grand Bazar to Ahmed Nagar forthwith by removing the encroachments from foot-path ear-marked for the pedestrians use as per representations dated

14-06-2013 and 04-12-2013...”

2. Heard Mr.E.Madan Mohan Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr. Midde Arun Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation representing respondent Nos.2 to 6. Perused the record.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 6 submits that the representations stated to have been made by the petitioner are from the year 2013, and that appropriate action would be initiated if a fresh application is submitted.

4. In view of the above, the petitioner is granted liberty to file a fresh application setting out all relevant facts regarding the encroachments on footpaths and road margins. Upon receipt of such application, respondent Nos.2 to 6 are directed to take appropriate action in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks thereof.

5. With the above observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
