This Criminal Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.1137 of 2024, on the file of the X Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally, Cyberabad, Hyderabad, wherein the petitioner was arrayed as accused No.2, for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(A) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, 1985.

2. Heard Mrs.K.Sandhya Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Jithendar Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondent No.1. With their consent, the criminal petition is disposed of at the admission stage on the ground that even according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter before the trial Court is not yet ripened for trial.

3. During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the learned Magistrate without recording satisfaction and without assigning any reasons has taken cognizance and issued
