This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/accused No.7, seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.665 of 2024 of Bowenpally Police Station, Hyderabad, for the offences punishable under Sections 316(2), 318(4), 61 r/w 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhitha, 2023 (for short ‘BNS’) and Section 25(1)(A) of the Arms Act, 1959.

2. Heard Mr.Papaiah Peddakula, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed the alleged offence and has been falsely implicated in the present case. The allegations levelled against the petitioner are purely civil in nature pertaining to monetary transactions.
