The court directed the respondents to pass consequential orders regarding the petitioner's promotion and seniority restoration within eight weeks, following the failure to implement previous court orders and administrative proceedings.

Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services (Home) appearing for the respondents and perused the material on record. With their consent, this writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is questioning the action of the respondents in not taking appropriate steps to promote the petitioner as Head Constable and further as ASI by restoring seniority in terms of proceedings issued by the respondent No.4 in C.No.11/A6-1/OE/2009-2024 (DO No.320/2025), dated 25.03.2025 from the date when his immediate junior was promoted.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner further submits that earlier the petitioner approached this Court and filed W.P(TR).No.1534 of 2017 and the same was disposed of on 05.12.2024. In compliance of the said order dated 05.12.2024, the respondent No.4 have issued proceedings in C.No.11/A6-1/OE/2009-2024 (DO No.320/2025), dated 25.03.2025 and the same was communicated by the respondent No.5 through proceedings D.O.No.2089/2025 (Rc.No.61/PR-VI/RCK/2025), dated 05.05.2025. Despite communicating order, the respondents are not taking further steps. In view of the same, the learned Counsel requested to direct the respondents to pass consequential orders and communicate the same to the petitioner.

On the other hand, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services (Home) is not disputing the submission made by the petitioner with regard to the disposal of W.P(TR).No.1534 of 2017 and also the orders passed by this Court and submitting that the consequential orders passed by the respondent authorities will take time and requested to pass appropriate orders.

In view of the submissions made by the both sides, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to pass consequential orders in pursuance to the orders vide C.No.11/A6-1/OE/2009-2024 (DO No.320/2025) issued by the respondent No.4, dated 25.03.2025 and proceedings D.O.No.2089/2025 (Rc.No.61/PR-VI/RCK/2025) issued by the respondent No.5, dated 05.05.2025, within eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
