This Criminal Petition has been filed by the petitioners/accused Nos.10 and 77 seeking to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.1 of 2026 on the file of the II Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad at Nampally, for the offences under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(A), 27 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short, ‘the NDPS Act’)

2. Heard Mr. K. Ashok Chakravarthy, learned counsel for the petitioners, and Mr. Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have not committed any offence and have been falsely implicated in the present crime.
