The court directed the respondent authority to consider the petitioner's representation regarding the non-receipt of Rythu Bandhu benefits and take appropriate action in accordance with the law within a specified timeframe.

With the consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.

2. Heard Sri Chandra Sekhar Appam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. S. Sravanthi, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for the respondents.

Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not issuing Rythu Bandhu cheques under the Rythu Bandhu Scheme in respect of the petitioner’s agricultural land in Sy.No.20/2/ee/1, admeasuring Ac.1.1200 guntas, situated at Masigundlapally Village, Midgil Mandal, Mahabubnagar District, while issuing the same to others, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner and possessor of agricultural land in Sy.No.20/2/ee/1, admeasuring Ac.1.1200 guntas, situated at Masigundlapally Village, Midgil Mandal, Mahabubnagar District. However, the petitioner is not receiving Rythu Bandhu cheques for her patta land. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to respondent No.4 on 17.01.2022 requesting grant of benefits under the Rythu Bandhu Scheme. However, no action has been taken by respondent No.4 so far. Learned counsel, therefore, prays this Court to direct respondent No.4 to consider the representation dated 17.01.2022 and grant the Rythu Bandhu benefit to the petitioner, within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

5. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents submits that respondent No.4 will consider the petitioner’s representation dated 17.01.2022 and take an appropriate decision in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties and without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.4 to consider the representation dated 17.01.2022 submitted by the petitioner and take appropriate action, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
