ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents in not paying the contractual balance amount of Rs.14,20,529.77 paise for the work done pursuant to the Tender Notice No.YLD/CVL/et-29/2024-25, dated 29.11.2024 and second Tender Notice No.YLD/CVL/et 34/2024-25, dated 17.02.2025.

2. Heard Mr. B. Kantha Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. P. Sri Harsha Reddy, learned standing counsel appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 5. Perused the entire record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted several representations including the representation dated 30.05.2026 calling upon the respondents to release the balance amount of Rs.14,20,529.77 paise along with interest to the petitioner’s bank account. He referred to page Nos.79, 80 and 81 of the material papers to demonstrate that the total work has been completed and handed over the building to the respondents wherein additional class rooms have been taken over by the beneficiaries i.e., Banjara Seva Samithi.

Since the work has been completed, the petitioner is entitled to payment of the balance amount, as such the respondent Nos.1 and 2 are hereby directed to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 30.05.2026, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the outcome to the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
