This Writ Petition is filed alleging inaction on the part of the respondent police in considering the representations of the petitioner society dated 15.03.2026 and 12.06.2026 requesting to grant police aid for the enforcement of the decree of perpetual injunction passed in O.S.No.359 of 2001, dated 29.08.2008, as confirmed in A.S.No.201 of 2008.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home, appearing for respondents No.1 to 5.

This Court, vide interim order dated 22.06.2026, had directed the respondent police to look into the representations of the petitioner society dated 15.03.2026 and 12.06.2026 and make enquiries with regard to the contentions of the petitioner and take action strictly in accordance with law as well as in the light of the decisions in Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited Vs. The Station House Officer, Madhapur P.S. Hyderabad and others12015 SCC OnLine Hyd 285 : (2016) 1 ALD 696 (DB) Satyanarayanna Tiwari Vs. S.H.O., P.S. Santhoshnagar, Hyderabad, i.e. Inspector of Police, P.S. Santhoshnagar Hyderabad and others2(APLJ 1982 (2) (HC) 163) and P.R. Murlidharan and others Vs. Swami Dharmananda Theertha Padar and others3(2006) 4 SCC 501.

Learned Government Pleader for Home has furnished a copy of the written instructions received by him and submitted that a notice dated 24.07.2026 has been issued to the Secretary of the petitioner society informing it that police personnel are available 24x7 to provide protection and that in case of any emergency, the petitioner society may contact the officers mentioned in the said notice.

5. In view of the above submissions, this Court directs the respondent police to consider the request of the petitioner Society for police protection, whenever such a request is made, and extend necessary police protection for the effective enforcement of the decree passed in O.S. No.359 of 2001, dated 29.08.2008.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
