1. Mr. Ajay Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Mr. Sandeep Tiwari, learned counsel for respondent nos. 1 & 2.

3. Mr. Vishwa Prakash Bahuguna, learned counsel for respondent nos. 3 & 4.

4. Petitioner is challenging a notice issued by the disciplinary committee of Bar Council of Uttarakhand on a complaint made by respondent no. 5. It is contended that Bar Council has not recorded any reason nor its satisfaction has been recorded that prima facie petitioner has committed a misconduct. This, according to learned counsel for the petitioner, is a sine qua non for referring a complaint to the disciplinary committee for enquiry. Reliance is placed on the judgment rendered by Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa v. Rajiv Nareshchandra Narula and Others, 2025 SCC OnLine SC 2063.

5. Issue notice to respondent no. 5 returnable within four weeks. Steps be taken within 48 hours.
