4. The present Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed with the following prayer:-

“(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Certiorari to call for the record and to quash the impugned First Information Report i.e. FIR No. 0667 of 2025 dated 04.12.2025 u/s 318 (4), 336 (2), 338, 340 (2), 61(2) of B.N.S., 2023, Police Station Patelnagar, District Dehradun.”

5. The Petitioners have also filed a Stay Application (I.A. No. 01 of 2025), seeking a stay on their arrest in pursuance to the aforementioned FIR.

6. Admit.

7. Issue notice to Respondent No. 3.

8. Steps to be taken within a week.

9. Let the objections be filed by the Respondents.

10. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, as an interim measure, it is directed that till the next date of listing, no coercive action shall be taken against the Petitioners in connection with FIR No. 0667 of 2025 dated 04.12.2025 u/s 318 (4), 336 (2), 338, 340 (2), 61(2) of B.N.S., 2023, Police Station Patelnagar, District Dehradun, subject to the Petitioners extending full cooperation in the proceedings before the Investigating Agency/Court below. It is further clarified that in the event of non-cooperation by the Petitioners, the interim protection granted herein shall stand automatically vacated.

11. The Stay Application stands disposed of accordingly.

12. List this case on 23.02.2026.
