(2) According to petitioner, respondent no. 3 erected towers for transmission of electricity over his agricultural field, however compensation therefor has not been determined
so far.
(3) Learned Counsel for the petitioner points out that petitioner has made application under Section 67(2)(e) read with Section 176(2)(e) of Electricity Act before the Collector and the matter is still pending consideration
before the Collector.
(4) Learned Counsel appearing for respondent no. 3, however, points out that the electricity towers were erected in 2016, as per the pleadings made in the writ petition, therefore the application, if any, made by the
petitioner must have been decided by now.
(5) Be that as it may, since petitioner has sought a direction to District Magistrate to take decision on his application, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to District Magistrate, Haridwar to take decision in the matter, if already not taken, as per law, within four months from the date of production of
certified copy of this order.
