2. Petitioner is serving as Livestock Extension Officer in Government Animal Service Centre, Kalinagar, District Udham Singh Nagar. He was transferred to Animal Service Centre Dalkanya, District Nainital in public interest vide order dated 10.06.2025. Feeling aggrieved by his transfer, petitioner

filed this writ petition.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a divorcee, therefore, he is protected by the provision contained in Section 13(6) of Uttarakhand Annual Transfer for Public

Servants Act, 2017.

4. Learned State Counsel, however, submits that as per the judgment enclosed (Annexure-3 to the writ petition), decree of divorce was passed by Family Court, Udham Singh Nagar only on 28.05.2025. Whether that judgment was challenged before some higher forum or any interim order was passed against the said

judgment, is not known.
