1. The present application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik

Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the Applicant, Rohan, seeking his release on bail in connection with Case Crime No. 314 of 2024, registered under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Kotwali Nagar, District Haridwar. The Applicant’s earlier bail application was rejected by the learned 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Haridwar, vide order dated 01.10.2024. Aggrieved thereby, the Applicant has preferred the present bail application before

this Court. The Applicant has been in judicial custody since his arrest.

2. According to the State’s case, an FIR dated 18.04.2024 was lodged by

the complainant, the father of the deceased Rakhi, alleging that his daughter had committed suicide on 14.04.2024. It is alleged that prior to her death, the
