4. Petitioner has filed the present Writ
Petition with the following prayer:
(i) Issue a writ, order, direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent nos. 2 & 3 to grant the petitioner the full benefits of the 6th Pay Commission effective from 01.01.2006, along with all
arrears and applicable interest.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner retired from the post of Mechanic and was provided the benefit of 6th Pay Commission from 1st October, 2009, whereas he was entitled for the said benefit since 01.01.2006. He submits that in similar circumstances the Hon’ble Court in Writ Petition (S/S) No. 1443 of 2025, Promod Kumar vs. State of Uttarakhand and others, decided on 02.09.2025, has directed the Managing Director of the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, Dehradun to consider and
decide the representation of the petitioner within four months from the date of production of certified copy of the order.
6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition may also be decided in terms of the said order.
7. Learned counsel for the respondent Corporation states that he has no objection to the said prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.
8. The submissions made by learned counsel for the parties is placed on record. 9. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the Managing Director, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation within three weeks from today. If the petitioner makes such representation within the stipulated time, the Managing Director, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation shall consider the case of the petitioner for grant of benefit of 6th Pay Commission w.e.f. 01.01.2006 and pass appropriate order as per law within four months from the date of production of certified copy of the order.
10. With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
