5. By the instant petition the petitioner is praying for the following

relief:-

To issue a writ order or direction in

the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to forthwith sanction the family pension to the petitioner and to regularly

disburse the same.

6. On the previous date Mr. I.D. Paliwal, learned Standing Counsel for the State of U.P. was directed to get instructions from respondent no. 2. Today, Mr. I.D. Paliwal, on written instructions of the Director apprise to this Court that the family pension has already been sanctioned to the petitioner by the Joint Director (Pension) and the communication thereof was also sent to the Chief/Senior Treasury Officer
