(2) Petitioner participated in a selection, however he was not selected and respondent no. 6 was recommended for selection. In this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:-

“i) To, issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of certiorari calling for the records and quash the selection list dated 27.08.2025, whereby respondent no. 6 (Ashish Kumar) has been declared selected on the post of Assistant Teacher (Hindi) Scheduled Caste category in Gurunanak Purv Madhyamik Vidyalay Khalimahuvat Khatima, District- Udham Singh Nagar. ii) To, issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to consider the case of petitioner for the appointment on the post of Assistant Teacher (Hindi) Scheduled Caste category in Gurunanak Purv Madhyamik Vidyalay Khalimahuvat Khatima, District- U
