2. Petitioner was appointed as Assistant Teacher (LT Grade) in Kumaon Region. Pursuant to a decision taken by State Government, petitioner applied for transfer in another region. Her request was accepted and she was transferred to Garhwal Region vide order dated 09.04.2025, passed by Additional Director of Education, Pauri. However, by the said order, petitioner was posted at Chakrata, District Dehradun.

3. Petitioner has challenged her transfer to Chakrata on the ground that she suffers from locomotive disability and her disability is to the extent of 40%, therefore, she is entitled to certain benefits, which are available to person with physical disabilities, as per the provisions of the Parliamentary Legislation.

4. A coordinate Bench of this Court passed an interim order in favour of petitioner on 02.06.2025 whereby the operation of the transfer order was stayed.
