2. Petitioner is serving as Assistant Teacher, LT Grade in education department of State Government. Vide order dated 26.06.2023, he was transferred from G.I.C. Kathgaria, Haldwani, District Nainital to G.I.C. Khatwe, District Almora. Feeling aggrieved by his transfer, petitioner has approached this Court.

3. Coordinate Bench of this Court passed interim order in favour of petitioner on 21.03.2024, pursuant to which petitioner is still serving at Kathgaria, Haldwani, District Nainital.

4. Learned State Counsel submits that at the time of transfer, petitioner had served at sugam place for 13 years 8 months and 29 days and now he has put in more than 15 years of service in sugam place.

5. Petitioner contends that he had applied for mutual transfer with one Ms. Hemlata Lohani and without considering the request for mutual transfer, he was transferred to Almora by impugned order.
