(2) Petitioner is serving as Assistant Teacher, Govt. Primary School, Sheeshamjhari, Block Narendra Nagar, District Tehri Garhwal. She was transferred to Govt. Primary School, Domasi, Jaunpur, District Tehri Garhwal, vide order dated 24.6.2023. Thus feeling aggrieved by her transfer, petitioner has filed this writ petition.

(3) It is contended by learned Counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is a widow, who has to singlehandedly look after her minor child, therefore, as per the provisions of Transfer Act, she is entitled to special treatment.

(4) Learned State Counsel, per contra, submits that on the date petitioner was transferred, she had already put in more than nine years of service at Sugam places. He further submits that petitioner fell within 15 per cent of such teachers, who came within the purview of transfer, as per the Transfer Act, therefore she was transferred to Domasi. Learned State
