Ms. Pushpa Joshi, learned senior counsel for the Applicant through VC. Mr. J.S. Virk, learned D.A.G. assisted by Mr. Rakesh Kumar Joshi, learned Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand.
The Applicant, who is shown to be an accused for the commission of the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 504, 506 and 302 of IPC, which was registered as Case Crime No.263 of 2023, at Police Station Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar.
Learned senior counsel for the Applicant submits that the Applicant has filed the present short term bail application on the ground that short term bail for a period of one month as the mother of the Applicant passed away on 06.01.2026 and “terhvi ceremony” is on 19.01.2026. A true copy of the death certificate of the mother of the Applicant dated 09.01.2026, is also annexed with the short term bail application.
Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant the short term bail for a period of fifteen days’ to the Applicant. Hence, the
