Delay condonation application (IA No.7871 of 2026)

2. The delay condonation application (I.A. No. 7871 of 2026) has been filed by the appellant stating therein that the sole respondent passed away on 28.06.2025, and the appellant came to know of the same on 14.12.2025. Thereafter, the substitution application was filed on 15.12.2025. It is further stated that from the date of death till the date of filing, there is a total delay of 159 days, and accordingly, there is a delay of 9 days in filing the application for setting aside the abatement. Hence, a prayer has been made to condone the delay of 9 days in filing the application for setting aside the abatement.

3. Upon perusal, the delay has been duly explained, and this Court is satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown. Accordingly, the delay deserves to be condoned. The delay in filing the application for setting aside the abatement is hereby condoned, and the delay condonation applica
