(2) Petitioner-in-person contends that benefit of Government Orders dated 8.1.2021 and 20.12.2021 is not being given by Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission to Ex- Servicemen in the selection held for different Group ‘C’ posts, while Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has relaxed the cut-off marks in favour of Ex-Servicemen. He refers to page 134 of the writ petition in support of his contention that the last selected candidate belonging to Ex-Servicemen category scored 14.6478 per cent marks only. Thus he submits that different selecting bodies within the State of Uttarakhand are adopting different yardsticks. While Uttarakhand Public Service Commission is following the government policy, whereas Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission has not followed the government policy in the selection for the post of Forester.

(3) Learned State Counsel as well as Mr. Shailendra Nauriyal, appearing for UKSSSC, shall get clear instructions on the aforesaid aspect by 14.4.2026.
