3. By the instant writ petition, the petitioners are praying for the following reliefs:-

i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents no. 1 & 2 to provide adequate and immediate police protection to the life and liberty of the petitioners.

ii) Issue a writ order or direction restraining the family members of petitioner no. 1 or any other private persons from causing any harm, harassment or interference in the peaceful life of the petitioners.

It is argued by the learned counsel for the petitioners that both the petitioners are major and were in love with each other and married on 17.03.2026 at Shivmandir, Thakurdwara and the certificate of marriage is also enclosed. In support of age, copy of Aadhar card of both the petitioners have been enclosed
