The present Modification Application (MCRC No. 1 of 2026) has been filed seeking modification of the order dated 16.03.2026, whereby the Applicant was granted bail in connection with FIR No. 370 of 2025, under Sections 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections

66(C) and 66(D) of the Information Technology Act.

4. Heard learned counsel for the Applicant as well as learned State Counsel and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the Applicant submits that due to inadvertence, Section 61 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 has been mentioned in the order dated 16.03.2026, whereas the correct provision applicable in the present case is Section 61(2) of the said Act.
