3. Petitioner is posted as Senior Veterinary Officer at Veterinary Hospital, Vikasnagar, District Dehradun. He has been transferred to Veterinary Hospital Pokhari, District Chamoli vide order dated 13.02.2025. Aggrieved by his transfer, petitioner has approached this Court.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that he has put in more than 15 years 8 months of service, out of total service of 17 years, in remote hill areas, and he was posted at Veterinary Hospital, Vikasnagar, District Dehradun, only in the year 2022, and before completing three years at Vikasnagar, District Dehradun, he has again been transferred to Pokhari, District Chamoli, which is durgam place (inaccessible).

It is contended that respondent no.4, who has been transferred in place of the petitioner to Veterinary Hospital, Vikasnagar, District Dehradun, has put in more than 10 years 5 months 11 days of service in accessible place, out of his total service of 15 years, and again he has been brought to District Dehradun.
