2. This first bail application has been moved by the applicant seeking regular bail in Case Crime/F.I.R. No.6 of 2024, under Sections 420 and 120-B I.P.C. and Sections 3/21(3) Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act and Section 3 of Uttarakhand Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments), Act, registered at Police Station Srinagar, District Pauri Garhwal.
3. An F.I.R. was lodged against five persons, including the applicant; that all the named persons were Director of the Private Ltd. Company; that the said company was incorporated for the benefit of the local farmers, but they took deposits from the local people, for which they were not granted any license; that the four named persons were granted bail by learned Special Judge (BUDS Act)/Ist Additional Sessions Judge, Dehradun, but since the applicant was the Managing Director of the said company, therefore, his bail was rejected.
