Applicant Manish Bisht @ Bhura @ Bhuriya is

in judicial custody in FIR No. 206 of 2021, under Section

8/22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances

Act, 1985 (“the Act”), Police Station Lalkuan, District

Nainital. He has sought his release on bail.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and

perused the record.

According to the FIR, on 16.06.2021, narcotic

substances in commercial quantity were recovered from

the possession of the applicant.

Learned counsel for the applicant would submit

that the applicant has been in jail for about 2 years now.

The cost of the narcotic substance is much meagre. The

applicant is a habitual drug addict also.
