The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted

that the private respondents have constructed road over the

private land of the petitioners, however, considering the

well-settled law to the effect that private claims/ disputes cannot

be adjudicated in a writ petition under Article 226 of the

Constitution of India, the learned counsel for the petitioners

seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other

alternative remedies as are available under the law. Liberty so

sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
